Single-Use ophthalmic surgical instruments for refractive LASIK procedures

LASIK, PRK, LASEK – commonly referred to as Laser Refractive Surgery – are some of the most common elective ophthalmic procedures performed worldwide. Most laser refractive procedures utilise an excimer laser to ablate corneal tissue in order to surgically change the shape of the cornea, thus correcting a refractive error. They can be used to treat Myopia (short-sightedness), Hyperopia (far-sightedness) and recently Presbyopia (inability to accommodate). ReLEx is the most recent surgical development which uses a Femto-second laser to cut a lenticule within the cornea.

Malosa Medical supply a full range of single-use ophthalmology instruments for Refractive procedures such as Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK); Laser Epithelial Keratomileusis (LASEK); Laser-Assisted in-Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK); Refractive Lenticule Extraction (ReLEx) - Femtosecond Lenticule Extraction (FLEx) & Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE); Corneal Cross-Linking; Malosa also provide a complete range of standard and bespoke single-use ophthalmic procedure packs for Refractive surgery.
