Single-Use ophthalmic surgical instruments for phaco cataract procedures

Phacoemulsification (Phaco) refers to modern cataract surgery in which the natural crystalline lens is emulsified using ultrasonic energy and aspirated from the eye, while keeping the capsular bag and the posterior/anterior segment barrier intact. Since its inception by Charles Kelman in 1967, incision phacoemulsification with quick post-op recovery has become the standard of care in cataract surgery all over the world.

Malosa Medical supply a full range of single-use ophthalmology instruments for Phaco procedures such as Phacoemulsification; Extra-Capsular Extraction (ECCE); Micro-incision Cataract Surgery (MICS); Femto-Phacoemulsification. Malosa also provide a complete range of standard and bespoke single-use ophthalmic procedure packs for Phacoemulsification surgery.
