Single-Use ophthalmic surgical instruments for IVT AMD procedures

An intravitreal injection is performed in the posterior segment of the eye through the pars plana, and is used to inject substances that act upon the retina. The introduction of Anti-VEGF medications has led to a huge increase in the use of intravitreal injections and they have become the standard treatment for the wet form of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). Ant-VEGF drugs have also recently been approved as treatments for Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusion.

Malosa Medical supply a full range of single-use ophthalmology instruments for IVT procedures such as Anti-VEGF injections for; Wet Age Related Macular Degeneration (wet-AMD); Diabetic Macular Oedema (DMO); Retinal Vein Oculsion (RVO). Malosa also provide a complete range of standard and bespoke single-use ophthalmic procedure packs for IVT surgery.
